Morning Meditation

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!
Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus,
To all God’s holy people in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:

Our God of Order
I have been involved in many organizations throughout my life, from the Boy Scouts as a young man, to having worked as an administrator in a hospital. I can say without hesitation that I have never worked in an organization or institution worth its salt where there was not a clear sense of a hierarchy or table of organization.
And why should this not be the same for the body of Christ, which is His church? (Ephesians 1:18-23)
It is He who appoints some to be Pastors, others to be Deacons, teachers and still others to be ministers for the sake of His Church community. (Ephesians 4:11-12)
You see, God is not a God of confusion. Just look at the precise instructions He gave to Noah to build the ark.
(Genesis 6:14-16)
Or look at how He filled two chosen vessels with skills and abilities to do all types of creative and artistic work for the building of His tabernacle. (Exodus 35:30-35)
He is a God of order and wants His house to be in order.
(1 Corinthians 14:40)
There will always be those who resist or may even despise church structure due to a variety of issues. But that does not take anything away from God being a God of order and precision.
