On the contrary, they recognized that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been to the circumcised. Galatians 2:7 (NIV)

The Gift Of God In You

Have you ever had an opportunity presented to you…an open door…a promotion that you didn’t see coming? It is favor obtained as a result of the Grace of God. It is a gift of God. You didn’t have to work for it. He placed that gift inside you even before you were born. And anyone who spends enough time with you will recognize that gift for what it is… a touch of divinity. God placed a gift inside Paul that was recognized by those around Him. He used it to accomplish his God-ordained assignment. Such divine impartations open doors for a person. And God provides the proper platform for that gift to be showcased. (Proverbs 18:16 KJV)
Consider the story of Joseph who came into Egypt as a slave, and was eventually promoted to a position second only to Pharaoh. (Genesis 41:46)
Even a false accusation from a powerful voice was not able to smother the gift of God that was manifested in Joseph. (Genesis 39:7-23)
What God did for Joseph, He can do for you for God does not show favoritism. (Galatians 2:6)
His blessings are for all who believe and obey. (John 15:7)
As you sharpen God’s gift in you, it will bring you out of the obscurity of the day to day and bring you before people of influence. (Proverbs 22:29)
That is the power of God’s Grace in you and me.
