Morning Meditation

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!
I went in response to a revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. I wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race in vain. Galatians 2:2 (NIV)

Perspective

Does this hat make my head look fat? How do these pants look on me? Did I make sense? Does this color go with me? These are daily questions that are presented to friends and family in the interest of getting another perspective other than our own. We are asking for a reality check. More times than we can count, we all need a dose of reality. One of the many obvious blessings of having friends and family is that they provide us with reality checks through their different vantage points. That is important because the truth is, our perspective is often skewed by our feelings, hopes, fantasies, insecurities, fears and a host of other factors. The Scriptures advise us that we should seek the wisdom and guidance of others before making plans. (Proverbs 11:14)
Paul received a revelation and was wise enough to discuss it with others to ensure that his vision was clear and his actions would be correct.
What about you? Do you want to have clear vision to make right choices? Do you want a reality check? Then see things from God’s perspective. He gives us His Holy Spirit to help ensure that we will always have clear guidance and direction in all of our decision making. (John 16:13)
Thank God for His Holy Spirit.
Where would we be without Him?
Be encouraged!
