Morning Meditation

Good Morning and Happy Monday!
They only heard the report: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.” And they praised God because of me.
Galatians 1: 23-24 (NIV)

A Transformational Experience

He has been an angry man all his life. He was subjected to intense mental abuse…forced to watch domestic abuse in his home. This filled him with so much pain and hate that when he was physically able to inflict pain on others, he did so…with great prejudice. He ran from his family’s name and into the cold seductive arms of drugs. He took on another persona…a dark, pain inflicting persona who felt no pain and held no fear. And at the end of his run was a cold dark cell in a maximum security prison.
Today he is a another man…a gentle man…not even a shadow of his former self. He has returned to the name given to him at birth. He has been given much grace..and is now trying to respond in kind. He had a transformational experience.
Paul also had a transformational experience on his way to Damascus. (Acts 9:3-9)
He met Christ and was never the same. (Galatians 1:13-16)
I don’t have a dramatic background filled with violence and drug use, but I met Christ in a Baptist church service and have not been the same since. I am now writing about the faith I once took for granted.
Do you want a transformational experience? Then go to the only one who can make you a new creation.
(2 Corinthians 5:17)
He makes all things new. (Revelations 21:5)
