Morning Meditation

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday!
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Ephesians 6:10 (NIV)

Divine Power

It is a dark and cold cave that had holds the body of God’s only begotten son. The entrance is sealed with a boulder that is meant to prevent anyone from coming in or leaving. Inside lies the most gentle and righteous man that ever lived. He is dead, slain by those He came to save. Or is He? Even as the spirit of death comes to gloat over the carcass of Jesus, there are ramblings being heard in the unseen world of eternity.
Slowly the dead body of Christ stirs as the very breath of God returns to His empty lungs. His heart begins to beat once again, pumping blood into once flattened blood vessels. What was nearly a prize for the power of death is now alive forevermore!
Death could not hold Him down.(Acts 2:24)
This is the power of God that brings dead things to life. (Romans 4:17)
Christ promised that His disciples would do greater things that even the works that He performed.(John 14:12)
And how is it that His disciples were able to do these things?
They performed the greater acts through placing their faith in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ.
Be encouraged!
