Morning Meditation

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. Revelation 6:15 (NIV)

Hiding From God

Scripture Reading: Genesis 3: 6-21
“What is that noise? Is that God walking in the garden? What is He going to think of us? And we are naked! How can we stand naked before God?”
And Adam and Eve made coverings for themselves and went to hide among the trees as the Lord walked in the garden in the cool of the day.
There are times when we all would like to cover our sins from God and hide deep within the caves of our minds or among the mountains of business that we make of our lives. But who can really hide from eyes that are everywhere? Or eyes that keep a watch on both the wicked and the good? God appropriately covered the nakedness of Adam and Eve. He gave them proper clothing to take the place of makeshift clothes made of sewn fig leaves. This is what He does every moment of our lives. This is what He did on that fateful Friday afternoon on Calvary hill.
He covers our iniquities and shortcomings Himself. Our human efforts will never ever provide us with the covering, forgiveness and deliverance from sin that God can provide.
Be encouraged!
